I’m not sure where you are as you are reading this, but in my part of the country (DC suburbs) it was a beautiful day yesterday and perfect for bringing out the cars and bikes. I started the day at the Rockville Cruise-in. I arrived around 9:30am and found a number of cars already there. As the morning progressed, the cars kept coming and by noon, 30-40 cars were there. The photo above shows what the lot looked like around 11:00am.
A couple of new comers to this cruise-in Just have to be mentioned.
First was this 1932 Ford, designed, built and driven by Chuck Niglio. I’ll be doing a feature on this car later this week. One particular change that Chuck made to the car just blew me away. Check back later this week to find out what it was. The other car was this really hot Z28 owned by Debbi Troxler. The motor alone is about the size of my wife’s car. 
Debbie’s pipes sounded the alert that something specical was pulling in. All heads turned and watched as she drove through and pulled into one of the parking spots. Then, there was the mad dash by everyone to go over and check it out. It was definitely a sight to behold. And I would be remiss not to mention that the ladies were out in force. Their was also a Nova driven by Lori Bryan but unfortunately I didn’t get a photo.
Once the parking lot started to clear around noon, many of us rode over to the show at King Pontiac Buick GMC.

e club is primarily devoted to GTO owners, the show is open to all Pontiacs, Buicks and GMCs. There were 35-40 cars there and you can see them here. 
And just as at the earlier show, there was a vehicle that really caught my eye. It was a GMC armored car. I didn’t find anyone who know the history but I’d love to know the story behind the three bullet holes over the rear tire. I’m not sure if this truck was used for money delivery or law enforcement but it was a formidable vehicle regardless. Well, that’s all for now.
